Powers Park takes up a large block in the center of Barrett, the land was donated in 1942 by Dr. Fletcher Powers with the express wish it be used for a children's play area. There is a large playground area with a basketball court. There is a picnic shelter with picnic tables. Benches are also available, built by the shop class of West Central Area Secondary School.
